First of all, we get acquainted with the capital city Yerevan. In the morning we head to Cascade Complex. The view of the city is complete from the top of the complex, from where you have the big picture of the pink city and savour the majestic Mt Ararat. Then, morning walk to the Opera House will make you feel lively and super-energetic. Continue to Republic Square through Northern Avenue which never sleeps. And at Republic Square, you will visit the History Museum, where you will know so much about Armenia. Then visit Megerian Carpet, the wonderful exhibition hall with hundreds of Armenian national rugs. The last stop of the day will be at Ararat Brandy Factory. Here you will see the interesting preparing process of brandy and also taste two types of cognac. Why not, you may take some cognac as a souvenir from Armenia.

Day 3 Geghard - Garni – Duduk Concert-Vernissage

This morning you head to Geghard Monastery. The monastery is divine by its architecture, position and majesty. The mountains around and the green forest make you feel completely in another world. Next, take the way to Garni. There you will visit one of the most incredible pieces of architecture. The temple presents the Hellenistic style. The only pagan temple existing in Armenia is devoted to the god of Sun, Mihr. The amazing gorge of Garni is under the cliff where the temple stands. Right here at the Temple of Garni, you will enjoy Duduk Concert. After the concert, you will head to Yerevan and visit Vernissage. There you can find the best souvenirs, jewellery, handicrafts, accessories of national clothing and much more than expected can be found.
Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 4 Yerevan-St Gayane-St Hripsime-Etchmiadzin-Zvartnots-Yerevan

In the morning, you will head to the spiritual city of Armenia, Etchmiadzin, where you will visit St Gayane and St Hripsime churches. They are in honour of virgins Gayane and Hripsime. Then, the next stop is at Etchmiadzin Monastery which is the first Christian monastery ever built not only in Armenia but in the whole world as well. This is where our Catholicos sits and gathers all the Christians around him. Also, have a visit to the Treasury Museum. Not far from the spiritual city you will also visit Zvartnots Cathedral, which, unfortunately, stands in ruins but never loses its charm.

Day 5 Yerevan-Saghmosavank-Haghpat-Sanahin-Dilijan

Today you will go to the Aragatsotn region and visit an incredible monastery Saghmosavank situated on the edge of the gorge of the Kasakh River. Saghmosavank monastic complex dates back to the 13th century and it has been a major book depository. Continuing the way, you will get to Haghpat and Sanahin. They have been major places for the development of education, literature and art. Furthermore, they are on the list of  World Heritage Sites. You will have a stay in Dilijan and enjoy the superb nature of the Tavush region.

Day 6 Dilijan-Goshavank-Haghartsin-Dilijan

For a start, you will discover Dilijan and its natural treasure. Everywhere is green and everything is in green. It seems the roads or the buildings are planted in the forest. Goshavank monastery is quite high by its position and is a huge monastic complex. After Goshavank you head to Haghartsin, the white pearl of the forest. The monastic complex has been an important centre for the development of education. And last but not least, you will visit the old part of the city which is called Old Dilijan. Here you will see the preserved way of life existing in Armenia.
Overnight in Dilijan.

Day 7 Dilijan-Sevanavank-Noratous-Selim-Jermuk

Early in the morning, we leave Dilijan and head to Lake Sevan. We will visit Sevanavank on the peninsula. The magical lake, in other words, ‘the blue eye of Armenia’, is under your feet. It is one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Not far from the shore you will discover Noratous. There you will see thousands of khachkars in one and the same place but you can’t find even two of them being the same. The name of Armenia as ‘an open-air museum’ is completely proven right here. Next, make your way to Selim Caravanserai. It was accommodation for travellers. Afterwards, we go to Jermuk. Jermuk is one of the main spa and resort towns. It is famous for mineral water pools, the surrounding forests, walking trails, artificial lakes, waterfalls, and fresh air.
Overnight in Jermuk.

Day 8 Jermuk-Tatev-Shaki Waterfall-Jermuk

Next morning starts early as we head to the southern part of Armenia. We go to Tatev Monastery. We are going to take the longest ropeway in the world. Wings of Tatev will take you to Tatev which is a 9th-century monastery having such a rich history and great significance. Before coming back, you have somewhere else to visit. Shaki waterfall provides the most relaxing and wonderful ambience for everyone.
Overnight in Jermuk.

Day 9 Jermuk-Noravank-Wine Tasting-Areni Cave-Khor Virap-Yerevan

We head back to Yerevan. First, we visit Noravank blended with the surrounding mountains. The monastery has been a significant place for Armenian well-known artists to live, work and create their works of art. What is next? We go to Areni Cave which shows the world that Armenians have been making wine in this territory for more than 6000years. And finally, we get to Khor Virap, where Gregory the Illuminator has been kept for 13years. The monastery and biblical Mt Ararat make up the perfect combination of harmony.
