Safe Travel

The COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 proved once again that travel destination companies should reconsider once again the safety control of the passengers using their services. Thus Feel Armenia team initiated the development of   “Safe Travel Concept”. It calls for shared responsibility among our travellers and our company to deal with different safety problems during their visit to Armenia.

Discovering different cultures will always be the passion of people. So, Feel Armenia as a part of  World Tourism Community practices its solidarity and respect in caring for the environment. Meanwhile, it develops sustainable check management of the company suppliers by generating new ideas and opportunities through our regular meetings and discussions.

Even in the conditions of the current crisis, people haven’t changed and they still want to travel. But it’s evident that travellers will be a lot more cautious about safety and would need evidence about actual physical changes made to make travel safer.

Highlighting the enduring values of tourism and in the response of this unprecedented global challenge Feel Armenia developed “Travel Safe Concept”  which states the main actions taken by our company to make our travellers feel relaxed and safe during their visit. We can’t guarantee absolute safety but at least we can take measures so that people start travelling again in a safer, more sustainable and respectful way, learning from the lessons of the current crisis.

Here are some measures that Feel Armenia took in the direction of travel recovery and safety.

  1. Feel Armenia Hygiene control team organizes regular meetings with our transportation suppliers monitoring the regular cleanliness of all the transportation.
  2. Another important measure is to have more seats on the bus and less passenger density which can ensure the private territory of each passenger.
  3. Feel Armenia supplies the travellers with hand sanitizers in the bus and demands the regular disinfection of all the hard surfaces from bus supplier.
  4. To increase the comfort and safety level of our travellers Feel Armenia Hygiene control team has already started meetings with our hotel suppliers to monitor and change the cleaning process of the environment that consumers interact with.
  5. Feel Armenia focuses on the suppliers which provide evidence of the visible measures needed to show how clean the properties are.
  6.   Feel Armenia Hygiene Control Team demands the evidence of the safety and security of established cleaning protocols from all hotel and B&B suppliers.
  7. Depending on the needs of the group a nurse may accompany the group to follow and help whenever necessary.
  8. To manage the problem of Overtourism, Feel Armenia has special access to all monasteries during the non-operational hours and can organize the visit during these hours, i.e. early in the morning.
  9. It’s also vital for groups starting from 7 people to have audio devices to listen to the guide and keep the distance from each other.

We need to note our own initiation takes all the mentioned measures. Additionally, they are subject to change depending on the UNWTO  actions and universally accepted standards.
