Sisian

One of the calmest and most relaxing towns in Armenia

Welcome to Sisian, a really relaxing town in Armenia. Enjoy the cool weather and magnificent nature. Sisian is a small town with about 13 000 population in the Syunik Region at the south of Armenia. The town is surrounded by Zangezur Mountains from the west and Bargushat Mountains from the south. The town is situated on the shores of the Vorotan River. Here you will also see Mount Ughtasar with its volcanic lake. Being in Sisian you will have a great trip to Shaki waterfall, the astounding bride of Armenia, Karahunj the so-called ‘Armenian Stonehenge’. Let’s not forget City History Museum and St. Hovhannes monastery. A lot of things to do and see in the middles of peace.
