An interesting fact: In Gyumri, each craft had its own patron saint and its own flag. The flags were kept inside the workshops, but on holidays they were hung in a conspicuous place.

Armenia is a country of churches, for this reason we have the right, having arrived in Marz Shirak (“marz” in Armenian – “region”), not to pay special attention to the extraordinary Harichavank. An interesting fact: In the Shirak region of Armenia, a special red shade of tuff prevails, from which most of the monuments of Christian architecture in the region are built.
