Day 5 Yerevan-Khor Virap-Bird’s Cave-Noravank-Hermon

It is early morning! Get up, and before all else, head to Khor Virap, the deep dungeon where Grigor the Illuminator was kept for 13years. Continuing the way, get to Bird’s Cave, where the archaeological excavations have led to finding the oldest winery. Not far from the Cave, you will have a visit to Noravank. Meals: B, L, D

Day 6 Hermon-Smbataberd-Zorats Church -Jewish Cemetery- Hermon

In the first place, take a jeep tour to Smbataberd and enjoy the breathtaking view around the fortress. Then, take the way down to Jewish Cemetery in Yeghegis. It belongs to the Jewish community which lived in Yeghegis in the 13th-14th centuries. 10 tombstones bear inscriptions in Hebrew. Day 7 Hermon-Ukhtasar-Zorats Karer-Goris

Start the morning with breakfast and head to Ukhtasar. It is an archaeological place where a lot of petroglyphs have been found out. Discover the mount and turn to Karahunj or Armenian Stonehenge. According to several researchers, Karahunj could be among the world’s oldest astronomical observatories and is much older than British Stonehenge. Day 8 Khndzoresk-Halidzor Aerial Station-Tatev Monastery- Goris

Hike to Khndzoresk. Cross the deep canyon via the Swinging bridge and head to discover the caves of Old Khndzoresk. Visit Tatev via Wings of Tatev. It is the longest and the highest cable car stretching from Halidzor to Tatev Monastery for about 6km. From Tatev Monastery take the cable car back to Halidzor. Meals: B, L, D

Day 9 Goris-Selim Caravanserai-Sevan-Dilijan

We are going to discover Selim Caravanserai on the Silk Road. Visit a family-owned restaurant, where you will get closer to Armenians and their family life. Afterwards, take a stop by the shore of Lake Sevan, which is the blue gem of Armenia. It is the largest freshwater lake in the Caucasus. Go up the hill on the peninsula from where the view is worth everything. To sum up, head to Dilijan and enjoy the stunning nature of the region. Meals: B, L, D

Day 10 Dilijan-Haghartsin-Parz Lake-Yerevan-Gum Market-Vernissage

It is early morning, and you breathe the incredibly fresh air in Dilijan. Hike to Haghartsin. Savour the magnificent scenery and feel the perfect blend of nature and a piece of Armenian architecture. From Haghartsin head to Parz Lake. Last but not least, drive back to Yerevan and have a visit to local markets Gum and Vernissage where you will find everything connected to Armenian culture.
