Once you arrive at Zvartnots International Airport, you will be met by Feel Armenia team. From that very moment, we take the responsibility of your amazing and unforgettable time and journey to Armenia. You will be transferred to the hotel by a private vehicle (or by bus). After the flight(s) you could be really tired, so we have not planned anything for this day. You will have time to relax and get prepared for the following days.

We begin exploring the heart of Armenia. Our capital city Yerevan is 2801 years old. It combines the old and the new in the best way. First, we go to Victory Park. The huge statue of Mother Armenia symbolizes peace through strength. Secondly, make your way to Cascade Complex, which houses the Cafesjian Museum of the Art. Exploring the city centre, we come to the Opera House, a cultural hub and an architectural triumph. After a super-delicious lunch, we continue our route, and what is next? So, the next stop is the History Museum of Armenia, where the pages of our history are preserved to show how Armenian civilization has developed. After that head to Ararat Brandy Factory to have the exceptional evening amid different flavours and scents of Armenian cognac. The factory is just heaven! Your journey to Armenia has officially started.

Overnight in Yerevan.

Following breakfast, we head to the northern region of Armenia. One, two, three… and you are here, by the shore of Lake Sevan. By the way, the Sevan is the largest freshwater lake. Take the way up the hill, and voila, in front of you is Sevanavank monastery. Have a bird’s-eye view from the top of the hill and feel the inexplicable beauty of Armenians’ pride. Wait, wait, this is not all! All is green, everywhere is green. You enter Armenian Switzerland, quite a small city Dilijan. Afterwards, head to Haghartsin. The century-old monastery has combined the exceptional capability of Armenian masters and the typical mountainous landscapes. Next, visit Goshavank, the 12th-century monastery. The monastic complex has been built by a great man called Gosh. He was the one who wrote a code of laws which has been the basis of the present-day Constitution of Armenia.

Spiritual city of Armenia… Etchmiadzin is the oldest Christian monastery in the world. Here, you will discover what it means to touch the complete harmony. The Treasury Museum of Etchmiadzin has the most important holy items, like the Holy Lance ‘Gerhard’. Then head to Khor Virap. Anchored by mighty Mt Ararat, Khor Virap is the monastery where the first preacher of Christianity Grigor the Illuminator was kept for preaching Christianity. The view of the biblical mountain is indescribable. Afterwards, visit Karahunj. From first sight, Karahunj is just a group of stones taken together. But remember about Stonehenge? The same here. That group of stones actually has had a significant role in scientific calculations. Well, you will know much more here standing by the stones. We will have overnight in Goris, a calm and quiet town in Armenia.

It’s early morning. Today we are going to discover the heavenly gem of Armenia hidden amid the huge mountains. Set in the magnificent natural surroundings with mighty-mountain views, Tatev monastery is welcoming us. First, the longest reversible ropeway will take you to the exquisite architectural wonder. You will have the feeling of absolute freedom with the Wings of Tatev. This is where you will immerse in nature and fly high in the endless sky. The majestic power of the monastery takes you to the times when the monastery was the centre of Armenian educational life. Afterwards, the same cable car will take you back from Tatev. On the way back to Yerevan, we will visit Noravank. The towering mountains around the monastery are the guardians which bare full responsibility of the maintenance of the truly wonderful monastic complex.

Today we pull back the curtains on two exceptionally beautiful architectural pieces of Armenian masters. We make our way towards Geghard discovering a UNESCO-protected monastery. Dig deeper into the monastic complex and discover the roots of Christianity. Meanwhile, explore the monastery amid the breathtaking mountains and enjoy the divine spiritual music by the choir. Then, drive into an idyllic village called Garni. Above all, the only pagan temple existing in Armenia is wonderful. Garni temple is one of the exceptionally unique constructions not only in Armenia. Savour the Armenian national instrument duduk. Right here sample the most delicious piece of bread called Lavash. Moreover, take part in the baking process and get acquainted with all its details. At the same time, explore the culinary delights of Armenian cuisine.

Enjoy your breakfast at your leisure this morning. It is the day to say goodbye. Your journey to Armenia is almost over. If you have time before your flight, you can go to Vernissage or Gum Local Market to get everything from Armenian culture and cuisine.
