Day 2 City Tour: Victory Park-Cascade Complex-Northern Avenue-Republic Square-Brandy Factory-Garni–Geghard

We start food and wine tour in Armenia first discovering the ever-changing, old and outstanding city Yerevan. In the first place, open the book of Yerevan at Victory Park and see Mother Armenia right there. Then, head to Cascade which houses Cafesjian Centre for the Art. Explore trendy Northern Avenue before boarding on a special trip to Brandy Factory to taste the fabulous flavours of Armenian cognac, which is a must-do thing in Armenia. Secondly, make your way to Garni. Drive into the idyllic countryside towards the Temple of Garni. Garni is the only pagan temple left in Armenia. Join the Cuisine Masters to bake Armenian Lavash and Gata. After, continue the way to Geghard discovering a UNESCO-protected monastery. Soak up the quiet spirituality and breathe in the harmony and the peace around the monastery.

Day 3 Yerevan-Saghmosavank-Amberd-Chir's House-Wine Factory-Yerevan

Head to Saghmosavank. Find yourself in front of the wonderful church. Feel the immense power coming down from the sky. With that power take the way up to Mt Aragats and visit Amberd Fortress under the endless sky. Coming down the mount you will visit Chir’s House in Byurakan village. Here you will savour the greatest assortment of dried fruits. Get to know the secrets of the preparation and even try to prepare yourself. Last but not least, we will get to a Wine Factory. The colours and scents of the Armenian wines will charm and captivate you. Here you will discover facts about Armenian wine and learn how to spot it.

Day 4 Khor Virap-Areni–Noravank-Bird's Cave-Jermuk

Embark on a fun-filled trip to the southern part of Armenia. The first stop will be at Khor Virap, where Gregory the Illuminator had been kept for 13years before Christianity was adopted as the state religion of Armenia as early as in 301. After some drive, you will get to Areni, another winemaking centre in Armenia. Umm, this day is going to be saturated with wine. After a quiet walk through vineyards and wine tasting, we take the way to Noravank, a remarkable monastery hidden amid giant mountains. Visit Bird’s Cave to see the place where the oldest wine-making containers have been discovered. Meet overwhelmingly friendly people on your way. Getting to Jermuk take your time to enjoy nature in the city and take a deep breath.

Day 5 Jermuk-Tatev-Khndzoresk-Jermuk

Heading to Tatev Monastery you will see the main attractions while tasting a generous selection of regional dishes. In Tatev, dig deeper into the monastic complex and its history. It’s an incredibly unique construction with sophisticated infrastructure. The feeling of total freedom takes you high in the lap of mountains while journeying via the Wings of Tatev. Further, visit the Old Caves of Khndzoresk through the Swinging bridge and take your way back to Jermuk, the resort city and take advantage of all the amenities the resort provides. The evening dinner will be a surprise for you!

Day 6 Jermuk-Selim-Lake Sevan-Dilijan

We are heading to the northern region alongside Lake Sevan. Visit Selim Caravanserai on the Silk Road and carry on the way to Noratous Village. At a family-owned local factory, you will surely appreciate the art of cheese making and the extraordinary flavours of various types of cheese. Then you will have a visit to Noratous where you will find hundreds of khachkars representing the development of Armenian Khachkar making history. After Noratous, drive to another local house to enjoy the undeniable warmth of the people and their delectable cuisine at a local restaurant for this time. Take part in Pakhlava preparation and have a bite of it. Incredible!!! Our final spot will be Dilijan, the greenest city of Armenia.

Day 7 Dilijan-Haghartsin-Parz lake-Sevanavank-Yerevan

This time drive to explore the stunning monastery amid the breathtaking mountains. We add a bit of adventure to your food and wine tour in Armenia. Take your way to one of the hidden gems of Armenian architecture, the monastery of Haghartsin. Then head to Lake Parz, enjoy the amazing surrounding and go back to the centre of Dilijan. This time our lunch is at one of the best restaurants. Here another master class of Armenian national dish is waiting for you. It is Called Ghapama. The gastronomical experience will leave you full but still wanting more. Continue your way to Lake Sevan and go up the hill to savour the panoramic view from Sevanavank monastery. Finally, make your way to Yerevan, the capital city to enjoy an evening walk in the bustling city centre.

Day 8 Etchmiadzin-Zvartnots-Gum Market-Gala Dinner at Megerian

End your food and wine tour in Armenia on a spiritually rich note. Firstly, make out your way to Etchmiadzin, the spiritual centre of the Armenians in the world. Thereafter, pay a visit to an exceptional place to savour gastronomical delights of their Sunny kitchen. Participate in the Fish preparing master-class on Solar Energy. You will also visit Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century monastery which stands in ruins just in front of Mt Ararat. Coming back to Yerevan, have a stroll in Gum Market where you can find everything for shopping. Then you have time to get prepared for our gala dinner. We visit Megerian Carpet Factory and our delightful evening starts. After we dress in national Taraz and enjoy Photoshoot in the authentic corners of the factory. Enjoy the unforgettable gala dinner full of surprises and lots of fun.
