Day 2City Tour (Victory Park-Cascade-Matenadaran-Cafesjian center for the arts- megerian carpet–Ararat Brandy museum)

The first impression of the capital of Armenia, like any other city, begins with its appearance, so you start your day with a refreshing walk at one of the main observation decks in Victory Park.  Mother Armenia will receive you in her reliable arms and show you Yerevan.

You will visit the Museum-Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after Mesrop Mashtots, one of the most important historical figures of the Armenian people. Get acquainted with the history of the creation of the Armenian alphabet and miniatures.

Next, you will literally go down to the ancient city of Yerevan, observe the creations of contemporary art, both world and Armenian, at the Cafesjian Arts Center, in order to forget the pictures from Google, and see Armenia on true canvases.

Having received vivid visual impressions, you will taste national, Armenian dishes in the authentic atmosphere of Megerian Carpet, after which you will head to the Ararat Museum to study Armenian brandy, tasting it from bowls that have stood through history.

Day 3Etchmiadzin (St.Hripsime-St.Gayane-Museum Etchmiadzin-Zvartnots-Yerevan)

There are three ancient monuments in Etchmiadzin. You will visit the St. Hripsime Church and the St. Gayane Monastery, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will learn the tragic story of three holy virgins and how their story is intertwined and connected with the history of the adoption of Christianity by the entire Armenian people and the beginning of a completely new era for them.

Next you will head to the main temple of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit the Etchmiadzin Museum, where incredibly valuable relics of the entire Christian world are kept: -Spear of Longinus, piece of Noah’s Ark, etc.

You will have lunch in a cozy restaurant, Machanents guest house, which means “Machan’s house,” very accurately describing the Armenian national dishes that you can taste.

Before returning to Yerevan, you will also visit the monument of Armenian architecture of the 7th century – Zvartnots. The ruins of the temple and the archaeological area around it are also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Day 4Sevanavank-Dilijan-Hakhartsin-Yerevan

The soul calls us to where we came from.

Your journey will end where it all began, and it all began with water. Lake Sevan is the treasure of Armenia, or as we like to say, the Armenian sea.

Climb the hill to the Sevanavank temple and again delve into the history of Christianity, being in a state whose people were the first in the world to accept Christianity.

Afterwards, you will go down closer to the shore and have lunch with delicious trout or whitefish, which are found in local waters.

Next, your path will lead to the dense forests of Dilijan, which will envelop you in its warmth and comfort. Beautiful Dilijan will show you its authentic architecture. You will head to the Akhartsin Temple, and make your deepest wishes there, and if they are as pure as the water in Dilijan, they will certainly come true.

By evening you will already be in Yerevan, and your soul will be filled with emotions, the main one of which will be warm sadness that your trip has come to an end.
