Start the journey having a city tour in Yerevan. First of all, head to the Centre of Yerevan, Republic Square. Right there visit the National Art Gallery of Armenia where you will have a walk through the great artworks. Then, you will head to the Opera House via Northern Avenue, the busiest street in Yerevan with a wide variety of shops, hotels, and cafes. Continue the way as you are going to see Cascade Complex, the staircase going up the hill. The whole area of the complex is an open-air museum hosting exhibits of modern art. Once you enter Victory Park, you will find all means of entertainment both for you and your children. It has a lot of attractions, cafes, a lake, etc.

Next day you will go to the Kotayk region where you will be amazed by the greatness of the constructions you are going to visit. First, you will visit Geghard Monastery, a 4th-century monastic complex standing among huge mountains. Then turn back and go to Garni, which is quite a big village having about 10000 population. Here you will visit Garni temple, the only heathen temple existing in Armenia. The temple is just gorgeous, not amazing. Moreover, the canyon of the Azat river is visible from there as the temple stands at the edge of the cliff.
Optional: Take a slight hike or jeep to the canyon of the Azat River to enjoy the Symphony of Stones.

Get prepared! You are heading to the northern region of Armenia. You are going to visit the greenest part of our country. In the morning you will come to Dilijan, a small city with a super-rich nature. Not far from Dilijan, Haghartsin Monastery stands in the middle of the forest. Afterwards, from Haghartsin you will head to Yenokavan, the village of adventures, hundreds of activities and astounding surroundings. Near the village is Yell Extreme Park, where you can do almost everything. Right here you will enjoy your family holidays in Armenia. The only thing you will need is time. And the great news is that you will surely have it. You will spend the whole day there.

In the morning you will have some more time to enjoy the unique place and then you will head to Lake Sevan. This is a great place for families with another handful of opportunities to have a memorable rest. On the Peninsula is the monastery, which dates back to as early as the 7th century. You will come back to Yerevan with a huge suitcase of memories and an amazing time.
