Again high on the hill, but this time Hayravank.
Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the compelling view of Lake Sevan and Hayravank Monastery and breathe the spiritually rich air.
The monastery dates back to the 9th century and is located just northeast of the village bearing the same name along the southwestern shores of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik Region of Armenia. The monastic complex is complete along with the lake and the proud mountains all around.
Let’s not forget about the incredible khachkars on the hill which bear the long history and the difficulties of Armenia, but have remained exceptionally beautiful despite everything.
Armenian churches are exceptional!
